President Rouhani to Visit US, Venezuela, Cuba

After a two-day visit to New York to attend the UN General Assembly this week, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani will fly to Venezuela. The president’s itinerary will also take him to Cuba later.

President Rouhani will leave Tehran to New York on September 16 to take part in the 71st Regular Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

Apart from an address to the UNGA 71st session, the president is scheduled to hold several meetings with top foreign officials in New York.

Thereafter, he will leave the US to Venezuela to hold talks with his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolas Maduro.

The president’s schedule also includes a trip to Cuba, but its details have not been yet announced.
