Iranian Military Comments on Strikes Against Targets in the UAE
Iran carried out attacks against the United Arab Emirates following confirmation of its participation in strikes against the Islamic Republic, according to statements made this Monday by the spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Ebrahim Zolfaghari.
"Our attacks against the Emirates [United Arab Emirates] occurred after confirming their participation in the attacks against our country. We reiterate to them the need to endure our blows, which will be less severe than those they have dealt," the spokesperson stated.
He further warned that if any error were to occur, Iranian forces would not hesitate to bombard all vital facilities within the Arab nation.
Authorities in the Emirate of Fujairah (UAE) reported this afternoon that a fire broke out at the Fujairah Petroleum Industries facilities following a drone attack originating from Iran. According to Emirati authorities, their air defenses were responding to a second missile threat of the day. Of the first volley of four missiles, three were intercepted, while one fell into the sea.
