A source close to Iran’s strategic decision-making authority confirmed that Tehran will continue its defense efforts until the national interests of the country and those of its regional partners are sustainably guaranteed.

The source, speaking to Al Mayadeen, emphasized that this decision represents the fundamental line adopted by Iran in response to the ongoing regional escalation.

“Any proposal that does not include these elements will be considered unacceptable by Tehran,” the source clarified.

Donald Trump Seeks Indirect Contact with Iran

Two days earlier, an Iranian political official revealed to Al Mayadeen that U.S. President Donald Trump is attempting to establish confidential contact with Iran through intermediaries to end the conflict.

According to the source, Tehran has not yet responded to these outreach efforts.

Iran Launches New Phase of Operation True Promise 4

In this context, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced the launch, from Tuesday night into Wednesday, of the 37th wave of Operation True Promise 4.

The operation includes strikes against enemy bases in Erbil, the U.S. Fifth Fleet, and the Bir Yaakov enclave in “Tel Aviv”, territories occupied by “Israel.”

Iran continues its escalation as a defensive response to the joint U.S.-Israel offensive against its territory, which began on February 28 and targeted residential neighborhoods, civilian infrastructure, and natural resources.
