Hundreds of girls, boys, and young people have joined "Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba (LADC) Escuela" in the recently begun school year, during which the institution will celebrate 35 years since its founding—first the company (2026), and then the academy (2027).

According to the institution, dancer-teachers from the renowned dance ensemble and instructors from other prominent artistic entities enrich the knowledge of enrolled students from age five with no maximum age limit.

Although the core of the methodology is Fusion Dance, LADC's distinctive hallmark, in the school's workshops children can choose among subjects such as Ballet, Flamenco, Cuban and Afro-Cuban popular dances, Urban Dances, and Physical Preparation, in addition to Fusion.

The LADC academy stands out for its distinctive educational, artistic, and social approach centered on dance as a platform for human and professional development.

Likewise, the Vocational Workshops serve as the gateway to the LADC school, where students advance through different levels—from Children's Ballet and Youth Ballet to the Teaching Artistic Group or Professional Career track that feeds into the company, currently made up of dancers.
