Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba (LADC) begins the 2026-2027 School Year this Monday, upholding its unique educational, artistic, and social approach that uses dance as a platform for human and professional development.

According to information released by the prestigious company, the portfolio of offerings available for children from age five upward—with no maximum age limit—includes Fusion Dance, Ballet, Flamenco, Cuban and Afro-Cuban popular dances, Urban Dances, and Physical Preparation.

The source adds that the Vocational Workshops serve as the gateway to the LADC school, where students advance through various levels—from Children's Ballet and Youth Ballet to the professional company—depending on the evolution of their skills.

Throughout 2027, the LADC school will celebrate 35 years since its creation, following the historical trajectory of the company, which was established one year earlier (in 1991) by dancer, teacher, and choreographer Lizt Alfonso.

The information further specifies that, although the academic period begins now, enrollment will remain open indefinitely, in keeping with the educational and social approach that serves as the institution's guiding compass.
