Daily Casualties Continue Despite Truce as Fatalities Near 72,500
The Hamas Health Ministry in Gaza reported a total of 581 people killed by Israeli fire during the nearly four-month ceasefire in the Palestinian Strip, along with 1,553 wounded, according to its latest data published this Monday.

This count includes the five dead and ten wounded in Israeli attacks recorded yesterday, Sunday, by the Health Ministry.

The Ministry also reported 717 bodies recovered since October 10, 2025, when the US-brokered truce took effect.

Total Casualties Since October 2023
Since the start of the Israeli offensive in Gaza in October 2023, following Hamas attacks in Israel that left 1,200 dead, the Health Ministry has counted a total of 72,032 people killed by the Israeli military and another 171,661 wounded.

Medical sources informed EFE yesterday, Sunday, of the death of at least three people in Gaza from Israeli fire, including a 16-year-old minor.

Persistent Violence Along the "Yellow Line"
Despite the ceasefire, deaths in Gaza from Israeli attacks are recorded daily—in some cases, bombings against targets within the area still controlled by Hamas (slightly less than half the territory) and in other cases against people near the yellow line, the demarcation running north to south through Gaza, separating the part under Israeli and Palestinian control.

This Monday, the Israeli Army claimed it killed four militants who emerged from a tunnel in Rafah, at the southern end of the Gaza Strip, and fired at its troops.
