The Iranian government confirmed on Sunday the allegiance of two of its top ministers to the newly appointed Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, who is expected to bolster Iran's resolve and morale in the face of continued aggression from the United States and Israel.

Foreign Affairs Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi formally affirmed his ministry's loyalty to the new supreme figure of the Islamic Revolution, emphasizing that the appointment guarantees the sovereignty and unity of the Iranian people.

In his statement, Araghchi expressed recognition of Khamenei for his "dignified selection," adding that the defense of the rights of the great Iranian nation, national security, and the advancement of the objectives of the Islamic Revolution would remain unwavering priorities.

In a joint communiqué issued alongside intelligence, security, and defense forces, Minister Khatib pledged full support to Khamenei and reiterated Iran's firm opposition to the "arrogant Zionist-American front."

The minister affirmed his commitment to carrying out the orders of the new Ayatollah with the same diligence previously extended to his predecessor, Ali Khamenei, who was killed during military strikes by the United States and Israel on Iranian territory.

Khamenei commands the absolute loyalty of Iran's entire executive branch and its armed forces, as well as the unconditional support of the civilian population, as the country confronts external threats and Western hostilities directed at Iranian sovereignty.
