Crowds of demonstrators gathered outside the Southern District of New York courthouse on Thursday, where Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, National Assembly member Cilia Flores, appeared for their second judicial hearing.

Supporters who took to the streets displayed signs demanding the release of both officials and chanted slogans in favor of the Venezuelan president. A number of detractors also made their way to the courthouse, though no incidents had been reported as of press time.
