Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba to Host Enriching Experience for Young Audiences

Lizt Alfonso Dance Cuba (LADC) and Malecón Art 255 will host Havana Dance Intensive from April 13 to 18, a gathering that will bring together internationally recognized instructors and offer children and young people the opportunity to grow in the art of movement.
According to the institution led by master dancer Lizt Alfonso, classes will take place at both venues, which last year served as the host sites for the program's inaugural edition and have since established themselves as benchmark spaces for dance education and practice.
The success of the first event was evident in the hundreds of boys and girls who participated in a comprehensive and instructive program that extended well beyond the artistic realm. The courses foster personal values and also offer students the opportunity to put their learning into practice by dancing alongside their instructors.
For this second edition, the program is open to learners aged six and above, as well as dance students and professionals from any province in the country. It will cover a wide variety of styles, including Ballet, Flamenco-Fusion, Latin-Fusion, Afro-Fusion, Urban Dance, and Props Technique, along with Master Classes taught by LADC faculty and distinguished guest instructors.
