Cuba Monitors Situation of Cuban Residents in the Middle East

Cuba's diplomatic missions in the Middle East are maintaining active monitoring and constant communication with Cuban residents across eleven countries in the region amid the complex situation and rising geopolitical tensions.

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla reported today that the Island's diplomatic missions in the Middle East are maintaining active monitoring and constant communication with Cuban residents in Iran, Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar, given the complex situation unfolding in the region.

Through his official account on the social network X, the Cuban chancellor specified that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs extends this attention to family members and relatives in Cuba who have shown interest in the situation of these nationals.

Rodríguez Parrilla reaffirmed the unwavering commitment to provide due consular assistance to Cubans abroad, in a context of growing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
