The photographic exhibition "20 Years of Dance in Havana" is open to the public starting today at the headquarters of the Havana Dance Center (CDH), located at Prado number 111 between Genios and Refugio, Old Havana. The collection features images of companies that have been part of the institution’s catalog for two decades.

Included in the program of the "Days of Dance" festival, which takes place in various venues across the capital, the exhibition is curated by Guillermo Kerton Contreras, director of the CDH, and Víctor Cabrera Soriano, the institution's communications officer, according to information released by the organizers.

The showcase seeks to highlight the trajectory of the entity and those groups that have been fundamental pieces in its historical development. Additionally, it serves to pay tribute to Bubu Bodes, a photographer who accompanied the center until her retirement through a sustained effort of historical and documentary memory.

The concept of the exhibition and the arrangement of the photographs engage with the chromatic diversity of the visual identity campaign adopted by the event this year. In this sense, "20 Years of Dance in Havana" connects with the plurality of the dance movement and its wide expressive range in Cuba, according to the official communication.
