It’s not a Photoshopped image, nor is it a manipulative framing  and much less the eyes playing tricks on you.

Actually, that train is going through the building.

It's in Chongqing, China, where that train goes through a building, through the sixth floor, to continue traveling in a wonderful sample of engineering and ingenuity.

It’s one of the most populous cities of the Asian giant, located southwest of that country, between mountains and along the Yangtze and Jialing rivers. In this city of more than 3000 years old, modernity moves forward.

The urgent mobility needs of the inhabitants of this complex geography fueled creativity and, like the mountains covered in constructions did not give another possibility, the solution was that the train went through the building.

It’s the interurban light rail line 2, corresponding to the Liziba station, which has become famous precisely because of this singularity.

And if it seems miraculous that something like this happens, it’s also miraculous that it’s noiseless.

Anyone would think that having a train passing right outside your front door can be comfortable, but on the other hand, quite annoying due to the noise pollution.

However, they assure that the train generates a noise only equivalent to 60 decibels, the sound equivalent to that perceived inside a restaurant. Undoubtedly, amazing, and it’s only the beginning of what the future and human creativity can achieve.
