President of Guinea Bissau pays tribute to Cuban National Hero (+Photo)

Havana, Sep 9 (Prensa Latina) The president of Guinea Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embalo, laid a wreath on Friday at the monument to Cuban National Hero Jose Marti in Havana.

The head of State, who arrived in Cuba on Thursday for an official visit, was accompanied by a representation of his country’s delegation, Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Anayansi Rodriguez, and other diplomatic officials.

During the meeting with President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Thursday, both leaders highlighted the historic nature of bilateral relations and ratified their common will to strengthen political ties and diversify bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
