Havana, Mar 25 (RHC)-- The fourth governmental visit to the central Cuban province of Villa Clara concludes this Friday with the presentation of ministers and government representatives who evaluated the productive and service activities.

The first two days were headed by Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdés Mesa and Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz, who toured strategic manufacturing, tourist, and social points and spoke with the population.

Valdes Mesa listened to the workers' proposals in their efforts to increase the productive sectors and urged them to apply science, technology, and innovations and fill the uncultivated lands with crops.

For his part, Marrero Cruz held a meeting with the managers and employees of the hotels of the tourist pole that links the resorts of Ensenachos, Las Brujas, and Santa María.

The head of government praised the tourist development of Villa Clara. He urged to improve the work with national and foreign tourists and reach new agreements with Cuban producers to acquire meat, food, fruits, and vegetables.

Meanwhile, Cuban Vice Premier Jorge Luis Perdomo visited several educational institutions in the territory and talked with teachers and students about the life and internal functioning of the centers.
