Paris, Jul 25 (Prensa Latina) The French solidarity association Cuba Linda today repudiated the United States blockade and demanded its lifting without delay, in a message for the Day of National Rebellion on the island.

The organization created in 1998 described as genocidal the economic, commercial and financial siege imposed by successive administrations in the White House for six decades and highlighted the achievements of the Cuban Revolution despite the aggressions of the US government.

On behalf of Cuba Linda, Rose-Marie Lou congratulated the largest of the Antilles on the 67th anniversary of the assault on the Moncada (Santiago de Cuba) and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes (Bayamo) barracks of the troops of the dictator Fulgencio Batista, 26 July 1953.

That day of the centenary year of the birth of the national hero José Martí, the action led by Fidel Castro took place, to resume the independence process of 1968 and start the armed struggle, which allowed the victory of the revolution, on January 1, 1959 , he pointed.

According to the French association, since that triumph, the island's achievements have been amazing, amid imperialist hostility.

Cuba has built a fairer and more humane society, in which health and education are rights and life expectancy exceeds that of rich countries, he stressed.

The organization affirmed that the Caribbean nation, in addition to being an example and beacon for the peoples, is a sister who expresses internationalist solidarity to those who fight against imperialism, sends doctors and not bombs, and comes to help and save lives or literate.

In the current scenario of the Covid-19 pandemic, Henry Reeve medical brigades raise the Cuban flag higher than ever, bringing the values ??of revolution, altruism, humanism, solidarity and dignity to dozens of affected countries he highlighted.

Cuba Linda recalled that in late April, she launched a worldwide campaign from France in favor of the delivery of the Nobel Peace Prize to health professionals on the island.

This week, the organization called on July 26 to take social networks in greeting to the Day of National Rebellion of the largest of the Antilles and to request recognition with the Nobel Peace Prize to the Henry Reeve brigades.

67 years after the assault on the Moncada barracks and four years after the physical departure of Fidel Castro, the sons and grandsons of the generation of the centennial of Martí follow the path marked by the commander-in-chief, that of justice, dignity and solidarity, insisted on his message today.
