Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel on Saturday reaffirmed his dismay over the death of Iranian President Sayed Ebrahim Raisi in a plane crash.
On behalf of the Cuban people and government, the Cuban leader signed the book of condolences opened at the Iranian embassy in Havana in connection with the unfortunate event, which also caused the death of Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and other citizens, the Presidency Cuba posted on X.
On X, the Cuban president stressed that Ebrahim Raisi was a great friend of Cuba, as well as an admirable politician and loved by his people.
