The 24th edition of the Cuban Culture Fair "Arte en la Rampa" opened today with a children's performance by the renowned theater company La Colmenita.
The show featured songs, dances, interactive games, poetry recitals, a tribute to the Cuban countryside, and more, delighting children, teenagers, and young adults—as the acclaimed troupe consistently does with each of its performances.
Held at Havana’s Pabellón Cuba exhibition center, the event will run until August 31. The first day continued with a new segment in collaboration with the Cuban Recordings and Music Editions Company (Egrem) titled "El viernes del disco" (Friday Records), where Lady Laura's album "Versus" was presented in the Salón de Mayo.
The day concluded at 6:00 p.m. with the "El Patio de mi Casa" space hosting the group Yosander y Agranel, who headlined the opening concert of "Arte en la Rampa." This inclusive fair celebrates Cuba’s cultural diversity, offering a wide range of recreational options for all audiences during the summer season.
According to Wendy Velázquez, Communications Director of the Cuban Fund for Cultural Goods (FCBC), 92 artists and creators are participating, showcasing their best works—including footwear, textiles, jewelry, ceramics, and glassware—from 69 stands.
Dedicated to the 95th anniversary of Armando Hart Dávalos’ birth, the fair will feature various cultural and recreational activities throughout July and August. Operating hours are Tuesday through Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
