FM Ratifies Continuity of Unity around Cuban Revolution in 2019

Havana, Jan 1 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez on Tuesday ratified the continuity of popular unity around the Revolution that triumphed 60 years ago in 2019.

In a congratulatory message for the 60th anniversary of the Revolution, posted on Twitter, the foreign minister said that Cubans will follow the revolutionary process established on January 1, 1959, guided by the defense of the country and the achievements made in all these years.

'#60YMas. In 2019 we will all continue to make a revolution. The defense of #Cuba and the noblest conquests of our process led by Marti, Fidel and Socialism will be our guide,' Rodriguez wrote on his @BrunoRguezP account.

Earlier, in other texts on Twitter, the foreign minister announced that Cuba will maintain its commitment this year to defend peace and multilateralism, in a scenario marked by bloody conflicts and the aggressiveness of the United States, particularly against Latin American progressive governments.

Also, among other aspects, he referred to issues of concern for the international community and that they should have a multilateral approach, such as climate change.
