Cuba and China assesses increasing cooperation in the field of justice

Cuban ambassador in Beijing, Miguel Angel Ramirez, and the deputy Minister of Justice of China, Liu Zhiqiang, assessed the possibility to extend the cooperation agreement signed by the two nations in the field of justice.

In the meeting held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Justice, both exchanged ideas on the possibility of increasing the professional training and sharing of experiences in the field.

On the other hand, the Chinese deputy Minister detailed how China is handling the new reform process in the country.

Likewise, the Cuban diplomat presented aspects related to the updating of Cuba’s economical and social model as well as the need of making laws going hand in hand with reforms.

In the meeting, both sides converged in the excellent friendly relation existing between the two countries as well as the broad perspective of cooperation and exchange between the ministries of Justice of Cuba and China.
