Revolución Solar (Eguzki Iraultza) is a working group formed in Euskal Herria (the Basque Country) to raise solidarity funds through the sale of merchandise and bonds, aimed at purchasing and installing solar panels in Cuba.

The proposal stems from a clear premise: to help guarantee energy sources for the Cuban people within a context marked by shortages and blackouts caused by the U.S. government's blockade. The initiative operates with the collaboration of the Basque friendship association Euskadi-Cuba.

The "Solar Revolution 2026" Solidarity Catalog offers various products whose proceeds directly fund this objective. Among the items available are mugs, pens, tote bags, caps, and t-shirts featuring messages and images linked to solidarity with Cuba. The catalog presents the initiative as a way to turn every purchase into a concrete act of support.

The campaign also offers the option to make direct financial contributions through solidarity bonds. The catalog notes that every euro donated through this channel goes entirely to the project, allowing for flexible contribution amounts—ranging from custom donations to sums covering a quarter of a solar panel, a 400-watt panel, a LiFePO4 battery, or a complete solar power system.

The initiative places these contributions in the context of the current energy crisis affecting the island. Campaign materials denounce the prolonged blackouts and fuel scarcity, highlighting their impact on hospitals, health centers, schools, and families, while attributing the situation to the intensified U.S. blockade.

Alongside fundraising efforts, the campaign carries a message of solidarity and resistance: "They will not be able to turn off Cuba!", accompanied in Basque by "Ezin izango dute eguzkia blokeatu!" ("They will not be able to block the sun!"). The initiative promotes solar energy as a practical means to relieve power constraints while reinforcing international solidarity with Cuba.

The catalog features products carrying slogans such as "Kuba ez dago bakarik" ("Cuba is not alone").
