Patria Colloquium: The Challenges of Contemporary Communication

Artificial Intelligence and the legal, economic, and narrative challenges and activism in the networks of the Global South: these will be the thematic axes main events of the third edition of the “Patria” International Colloquium, which will meet as part of the program for Cuban Press Day, from March 18-20, 2024, at PABEXPO exhibition center.

Under the auspices of the Union of Cuban Journalists, in Havana will bring together communicators, journalists, digital creators, designers and artists from various countries. It will be another opportunity to discuss issues essential elements of the public agenda related to communication and its numerous ramifications in the contemporary framework.

Other points of the call propose an analysis of current events and the real possibilities of a New International Order for Information and Communication.
Here new developments in the digital field will be presented and the articulation and co-productions that involve communicators and experts of the different disciplines that impact social communication today.

Presentations and book sales, live broadcasts, concerts and technological exhibitions complete a program that will be developed in person at Pabexpo.
