Mexican Institute of Cinematography Confirms Collaboration with Cuba

The president of the Mexican Institute of Cinematography, María Novaro, confirmed that her country will participate, through a collaboration agreement with Cubacine, in the production of films and series, ICAIC President Alexis Triana wrote on Facebook.

The head of the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry (ICAIC) noted that Mexico will support the promotion of this film industry and will contribute to safeguarding Cuban films, as part of the continent’s film heritage, Triana added.

He added that Mexican Institute will also support actions to train media professionals in the field of digitalization.

The ICAIC official thanked Novaro for her contribution and for paying tribute to ICAIC on its 65th anniversary, to be celebrated on March 24.

The president of the Mexican institute is a film director and screenwriter, and together with her work team, she took on the task due to the friendship that unites the two countries, the text concluded.
