T-Mobile offers roaming in Cuba
especiales

T-Mobile started offering roaming to customers travelling to Cuba. Thanks to an agreement inked earlier this year, T-Mobile customers can now talk for USD 2.00 a minute, send text and multimedia messages for USD 0.50 per message and receive them for free, and use data for USD 2.00 per MB while roaming in Cuba. Calling back to the US is completely free with Wi-Fi calling.
It’s no surprise Cuba has continually been one of the top requested additions to T-Mobile’s international roaming on social media. In the US, almost half (43.7 percent) of Cuban-born wireless customers are with T-Mobile and wireless customers in Cuban-American hubs like Miami are consistently choosing T-Mobile.
T-Mobile moved to respond to those customer requests signing a deal last spring with Cuban telecommunications company Empresa De Telecomunicaciones De Cuba (ETECSA).
Back in May, T-Mobile enabled calls from the U.S. to Cuba for USD 0.60 per minute with its monthly Stateside international talk'' feature (USD 15 per month). And, now, T-Mobile customers can stay connected while travelling in Cuba.
In related news, T-Mobile's rival AT&T recently announced that its customers can talk, text and use data while in Cuba.
