Creo que la nota está fuera de conocimiento que ya existen pruebas rápidas para VHC. Desde 2017, las OMS aprobó las mismas y se implementó en 2018 su uso universal. Desde 2020, existe ya tratamiento curativo para la hepatitis C y mucho han ayudado las pruebas rápidas para detectar y tratar lo antes posible esta enfermedad.
