Caracas, Dec 14 (Prensa Latina) Venezuela, Pro-tempore president of the Common Market of the South (MERCOSUR), today defends the integration and unity of the peoples in the meeting of Foreign Ministers of the block to be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

This was assured by the Venezuelan Minister of Foreign Affairs, Delcy Rodríguez in her Twitter account.

We are in the Argentinean capital bringing the message of integration and unity of Venezuela to the MERCOSUR peoples, the Rodríguez.

The Venezuelan minister criticized the convening of the assembly, carried out illegally by Argentina, 'A nation that together with Brazil and Paraguay form a Triple Alliance to attack the country and violate its legitimate rights' in the process of regional integration founded in 1991.

In the legitimate defense of our rights and interests, as well as the institutionality of the grouping, we will participate in that meeting, she stressed.

It was also announced that tomorrow she will be in Montevideo, Uruguay, where the headquarters of the MERCOSUR Secretariat is located, 'to continue the direct negotiations promoted by Venezuela for the resolution of disputes'.

The so-called Triple Alliance alleges that Venezuela has not internalized MERCOSUR regulations, which is not true because the country assumed 95 percent of the regulations, unlike founding nations such as Brazil and Paraguay, which in 25 years register an incorporation average of 50 percent.'

The Minister said that these attacks in MERCOSUR are part of a plan of a neoliberal restoration in Latin America, promoted by the imperialist right wing.
