Cuban President Leads Extraordinary Party Meeting in Cienfuegos
Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel presided over the Extraordinary Plenum of the Communist Party in Cienfuegos, a central province of the country, where progress on the implementation of agreements from the XI Plenum of the Central Committee was assessed.

During the meeting, participants also reflected on the region's commitments for 2026 and the importance of Communist Party members' performance in promoting comprehensive territorial development.

President's Remarks on Social Media
Through a message on X, the head of state commented on the Plenum, which continues a process initiated at the start of the year.

"We have resumed meetings with the membership at the provincial plenums, with the purpose of exchanging views on the country's priorities and the role our organization must play in leading them," he stated.

"It falls to the members to be at the forefront in solving problems," asserted Díaz-Canel.
