
Swimming will energize the Junior Pan American Games in Asunción 2025 today with a program featuring nine finals.
The championship races will be held in the 100-meter freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke events, for both men and women.
Additionally, finals will take place in the 800-meter freestyle for women and men, as well as the mixed 4×100 medley relay.
So far, Brazil leads the junior Pan American swimming competition by a wide margin with 10 gold medals, five silver, and one bronze.
Following Brazil are Argentina (2 gold, 2 silver, 3 bronze), Mexico (1-2-2), Panama (1-0-0), and Puerto Rico (1-0-0).
Next in the rankings are Chile (0-2-1), Colombia (0-1-3), and Jamaica (0-1-1).
The swimming events at the Asunción 2025 Junior Pan American Games are being held from August 10 to 14 at the Olympic Aquatic Center in the city of Luque.
