In a post on X, Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla ratified the island’s firm commitment to the elimination of nuclear weapons.

Cuba has just reaffirmed its position on this matter at the 3rd Meeting of States Parties to the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), under way in New York.

In his message, the foreign minister advocated working together to strengthen the NPT and move towards a future without nuclear weapons.
