Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez attended the launching of Carlos Alberto "Tin" Cremata’s book La Colmenita ¡mi vida!, as well as a play of the same name organized to celebrate more than three decades of the renowned children's theater company.

The work prepared by Cremata, general director of “La Colmenita” [The Little Beehive], includes both pictures and texts depicting the fruitful life of a troupe in which actors of several generations have had a school.

Established on February 14, 1990, “La Colmenita” was appointed UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in 2007.
