Cuba´s Public Health Ministry (MINSAP) on Saturday reported three new cases of Covid-19, and the country´s overall infection toll dropped to 41.

Eight patients were discharged from hospital, so the country´s total recovery toll jumped to 1,103,843. Since the beginning of the pandemic, in March 2020, 1,112,473 people got infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

According to MINSAP, no deaths were reported, so Cuba´s total death toll remains at 8,530.

90.3% of the Cuban population is fully vaccinated, while 8,693,158 people have received two booster doses.
