Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel will participate in the Summit of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) via video conference, Advisor to the Russian Presidency Yuri Ushakov said on Thursday.
The official informed that the prime minister of Uzbekistan and the Cuban president will take part as telematic guests in the summit, which will be held on December 9 in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
Ushakov added that the presidents of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and the prime minister of Armenia will also participate in the forum.
He noted that the summit will discuss EAEU activities and the strengthening of integration.
In addition, participants will discuss the elimination of obstacles in the internal market of the Union, the functioning and development of a single market of services, and the promotion and financing of industrial projects.
