Havana Aug 15 (Prensa Latina) Cuba´s Public Health Ministry (MINSAP, in Spanish) on Monday reported 87 new Covid-19 cases, bringing total to 1,109,520 since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020.

The country has 418 active cases so far, 414 of which have shown a stable clinical progress and four patients remain in ICUs, including two in critical conditions and two seriously ill.

Overall recovery toll amounted to 1,100,514, while 657 patients and 239 suspects remain hospitalized.

No deaths were reported during the day, so Cuba´s total death toll remain at 8,529, according to MINSAP´s official website.
