Nicaragua processes return of child abandoned in the US
Managua, Apr 13 (Prensa Latina) Nicaraguan Vice President Rosario Murillo on Monday announced that the Government is conducting the corresponding proceedings for repatriating young kid Wilton Eniel Gutiérrez, abandoned in a desert area in the United States.
The minor is currently kept in a Texas shelter and Nicaraguan executive appointed Consul Samuel Trejos to accompany the kid, said Murillo.
Murillo also stated that International police cooperation was also requested from Mexican authorities to track down Wilton Eniel´s mother, Meyling del Socorro Obregón, 30, reported as missing in the US.
The Ministries of Family and Interior as well as the National Police make up of a commission to carry out necessary proceedings to deal with repatriation request for the minor and his mother, she added.
