Raúl Castro Received Top Leader of South African Communist Party

The Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party, received this Monday afternoon the General Secretary of the Communist Party of South Africa, Blade Nzimande who is officially visiting our country.

During the official meeting, they exchanged thoughts on the excellent historical relationships of fraternity and collaboration existing between both parties and governments, as well as of other topics of the international agenda.

The distinguished visitor was accompanied by Salomón Solly Mapailla, member of the Political Bureau and second secretary for the Communist Party of South Africa.

On the Cuban side attended Salvador Valdés Mesa, member of the Political Bureau and vice-president for the Council of State; and José Ramón Balaguer Cabrera, member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee and head of the Foreign Affairs Department.
