The Cuban delegation is presided over by Deputy Foreign Minister, Abelardo Moreno, while the community bloc's group is led by Christian Leffler, Managing Director for the Americas at the European External Action Service.

According to the national television, the chapters of cooperation and trade will be discussed during the meeting with the aim of being concluded, while the discussion on the chapter on political dialogue is expecting to begin.
