In view of the intensification of aggression by the United States Government, Venezuela pushes forward a new Anti-Blockade Law which will generate protection mechanisms against such actions.

After being submitted by President Nicolas Maduro to be approved by the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), the initiative made headlines in Venezuelan media during this week.

If approved, this legal instrument would become a legal response to face the coercive and unilateral measures imposed by Washington to suffocate the country.

According to the President, the law will promote actions for the strengthening of public management, improve the nation's income and create adequate incentives under flexible controls to stimulate internal economic activity and external productive alliances.

It will also allow the Venezuelan State to protect assets from threats of confiscation, theft and looting, of which this nation has been victim in the last two years by the national right wing, the White House and its allies.

Likewise, it will help establish productive alliances with companies inside and outside the country for the development of strategic sectors, which will be an incentive for investments by making the State's share participation in mixed companies more flexible.

All this will facilitate labor and tax incentives, and will also strengthen the use of crypto-currency in commercial operations to evade financial persecution, Maduro stressed when submitting the proposal.
