Madrid, Oct 11 (Prensa Latina) The State Coordinating Committee of Solidarity with Cuba (CESC) of Madrid on Monday issued a communique of rejection and condemnation to the threats and slander against singer songwriter Orlis Pineda.

CESC referred to the case of Pineda, who is the author of the song 'Ponle corazon' (Put your Heart on It). He lives in the Madrid neighborhood of Vallecas and has been the object of verbal aggressions due to his song.

The note indicated that these are destabilizing actions on social media against the singer-songwriter, known as Orlis.

'They are hate attacks perpetrated by Cubans, not infrequently hired by US funds against Cuba; they are the same ones who frequently call for a US military intervention against their country, knowing the tragic and criminal consequences that such a misfortune would have for the Cuban people,' he noted.

In a recent interview with Cubainformacion, the artist pointed out that Cuba is not alone and in the light of difficulties, what it needs is to 'solve the problems among Cubans, without violence or vandalism.'
