Port of Spain, Dec 6 (Prensa Latina) The documentary "Soberania" will represent Cuba at the Ibero-American Film Festival scheduled from today until December 15 at the National Library of Trinidad and Tobago.

The work to be screened on the eighth day, with script and direction by Alejandro Gil, approaches the circumstances and the value of ideas with which the course of one of the Cuban anti-Covid-19 vaccination projects began.

Corazon de luna, a Peruvian science fiction drama film from 2021 directed by Aldo Salvini and starring Haydee Caceres, will open the event on Tuesday. The initiative, coordinated between the Library of this Caribbean country and Ibero-American States with diplomatic representation here, will also include the participation of films from Mexico, Spain, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Argentina, Panama, Chile and Colombia.

Trinidad and Tobago, northwest of Venezuela and with nearly 1.5 million inhabitants, held its Film Festival during three days, November last, which had its origin in 2006.
