Havana, August 12 (RHC)-- Olympic champion Serguey Torres and world queen Yarisleidis Cirilo won silver medals on Thursday in the second round of the Pan American Sprint Canoeing Championships in Halifax 2022, Canada.

Torres, 35 years old, clocked 4:09.7 minutes in the C1-1000 meters, in a race held at Banook Lake, venue of the important event until August 12.
