Ciego de Avila, Cuba, Oct 5 (Prensa Latina) With the opening of the Grand Aston Cayo Paredon Hotel, in Jardines del Rey, the region's accommodation capacity has increased for the winter season that will start in November.

The 635-room hotel, owned by the Indonesian-based tourism group Archipelago International, is the first of that company in the northern keys of Ciego de Avila and will be distinguished by a Nikkei cuisine space that mixes Japanese and Peruvian flavors.

The winter season will also include the reopening of the Colonial Cayo Coco Hotel, after a complete restoration, renovation of its image and the design of attractive services.

Managed by the Cubanacan group, the four-star hotel offers 458 rooms in 23 modules and was the first establishment in Jardines del Rey 29 years ago, an anniversary that will be celebrated on November 12.

The Colonial Cayo Coco is a distinctive hotel in Ciego de Avila, with colonial motifs in the unique architecture of its buildings, cobblestone streets, and small squares that allow guests to go back in time to a colonial-style past in Cuba.

Formed by Cayo Coco, Cayo Guillermo, Paredon Grande, and Anton Chico, the recreational destination will offer tourists its excellent sun and beach products and varied extra-hotel offers linked to the natural environment of great biological diversity, suitable for trekking, nature tourism and nautical sports.

Jardines del Rey has 26 four- and five-star hotels, located on the beachfront, with more than 10,000 rooms.
