Iran Denies Radioactive Leak at Nuclear Facilities Following Israeli Attack

The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) has ruled out any radioactive leaks or contamination following the Israeli attack on the Natanz nuclear facility, though damage to some parts of the site was acknowledged.
According to a statement from the organization, broadcast by Iranian state television, conducted analyses confirmed there was no radioactive or chemical contamination, nor any leaks at the site.
Additionally, on Friday, the AEOI accused the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of losing its credibility as a reliable international body following Israel’s attack on the uranium enrichment facility in Natanz.
The previous day, AEOI President Mohammad Eslami stated in a televised interview that the resolution passed by the IAEA Board of Governors was an attempt to pressure the Islamic Republic into making concessions.
His remarks came shortly after the Board of Governors approved a resolution accusing Iran of failing to meet its nuclear obligations, which was followed by the Israeli attack on Iranian territory.
Political analysts suggest the resolution was driven by political pressure from the U.S., the so-called European Troika (France, Germany, and the UK), and Israel, aiming to justify subsequent attacks against Iran.
