Important cultural space Huron Azul reopens in Cuba (+Photo)

Authentic Cuban music and renowned artists starred this weekend in the reopening of the Hurón Azul cultural space, emblematic for national art.

After a renovation process, Huron Azul reopened with a show and the participation of Beatriz Marquez, Pancho Amat, Eduardo Sosa, Cesar Lopez and Orlando Valle (Maraca) and the group Afroamerica, defender of the most genuine rumba, reported the website of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (Uneac).

Among the main objectives of this space is the safeguarding and promotion of the most autochthonous music and popular culture of the nation. It is named after the house where the great Cuban painter Carlos Enriquez lived in Havana since 1939.
