Havana D’Primera celebrates 15 years in Cuba’s sound industry

Havana, Oct 4 (Prensa Latina) With a distinctive sound within Cuba's popular music and a catalog of awards that endorse its quality, the Havana D'Primera orchestra is celebrating its 15th anniversary.

Under the direction of singer, trumpet player, and composer Alexander Abreu, the group has won half a dozen Cubadisco Awards and two Latin Grammy nominations, among other prizes.

As part of the celebrations on its 15th anniversary, the group developed a European tour, which includes stopovers in Bulgaria (Sofia), Germany (Hamburg), Finland (Helsinki), France (Paris), Italy (Florence, Mantova, Naples), Netherlands (Amsterdam), Switzerland (Bern) and Spain (Seville, Madrid, Tenerife, Zaragoza, Barcelona, Bilbao).
