Caracas, Oct 21 (Prensa Latina) The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the National Electoral Council (CNE) are working on Thursday to coordinate the security plans for the November 21 elections in Venezuela.

The National Logistic Committee, consisted of Minister of the Interior, Justice and Peace Remigio Ceballos, CNE President Pedro Calzadilla, and utility companies CORPOELEC, CANTV and Movilnet, are currently working on the strategy for the deployment and custody of the electoral material.

During a meeting held on Wednesday, the minister pointed out that the citizen security agencies and the FANB are in coordination to guarantee this next electoral process in all its stages, from the safekeeping of the material to the moment when the voters cast their vote.

'We are strengthening all necessary elements in this electoral process to guarantee the security of the 14,262 polling stations, in 335 municipalities across the country,' Ceballos said.

During the October 10 electoral simulation, all social and political leaders involved showed the effectiveness of their plans and strategies to achieve an adequate progress of the process, which was described as successful by the electoral authorities and international observers.
