Esteban Lazo congratulates the people on National Rebellion Day

Havana, July 26 (RHC)-- The president of Cuba's National Assembly of People's Power, Esteban Lazo, congratulated the Cuban people on National Rebellion Day.

In his message published on the Cuban parliament's official Twitter account, he assured that this glorious patriotic date summons to continue turning setbacks into victory.

In turn, he conveyed a special congratulation, on the 69th anniversary of the assaults on the Moncada Barracks in Santiago de Cuba and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks in Bayamo, to the people of the province of Cienfuegos, whose results allowed it to host the central act of this anniversary in the country.

He said that this date becomes, in addition to inspiration and pride for the whole nation, a reason for commitment to the present and future challenges, and to continue with the main economic, political and social tasks in the face of the current difficulties.

"With the same impetus of the Moncadistas, our heroic people will continue building Socialism, with unity, popular participation and creative resistance; with absolute confidence in the triumph, under the leadership of our Party, the legacy of the Centennial Generation and the continuity of the new generations", said Lazo, according to the website of the Cuban legislature.
