Diaz-Canel visits populous neighborhood in Villa Clara province

Santa Clara, Cuba, Dec 2 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Miguel Dia-Canel on Thursday visited the populous El Condado neighborhood, in this central city.

The Cuban head of State also visited the Yabu Valley Agricultural Company, and will participate in an assembly of accountability from the delegate to his voters on his condition of elected lawmaker to the National People’s Power Assembly for this city.

The two-century-old neighborhood welcomed Diaz-Canel, who is also the first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), within a process of constructive rejuvenation of social works and services in which several construction entities participate with the support from the people’s volunteer work.

Similar to what is being done in 62 neighborhoods in Havana, in El Condado rehabilitation was resumed, and more than 300 actions of various kinds were carried out, which solved peremptory problems of its neighbors, including those related to roads, hydraulic leaks, clogs, elimination of garbage cans and micro-dumps and the improvement of homes and gastronomic units.
