Cuban Foreign Minister denounces US bombings against Yemen

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez denounced today on the social media platform X the US bombings against civilian infrastructure in Yemen.

He also condemned Washington’s unilateral coercive measures against the Arab country, which, he stated, worsen the complex humanitarian situation of the Yemeni population and exacerbate instability in the Middle East.

Recent Pentagon air raids against areas controlled by Houthi rebels caused 140 deaths and injuries.

The day before, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) warned that the US-Israeli alliance represents “a direct enemy of our peoples, an enemy that must be confronted with all our resilience, firmness, and perseverance.”

In this regard, he condemned the new incursions by US aircraft against the Ras Isa oil port in western Yemen and called on the American people to reject “the horrible massacres carried out in their name.”
