Cuban Embassy in the UK issues condolences on the death of Queen Elizabeth II

Havana, September 8 (RHC)-- Cuba's diplomatic representation in the United Kingdom on Thursday lamented the death of Queen Elizabeth II at the age of 96, at Balmoral Castle, after seven decades of reign.

On Twitter, the embassy conveyed condolences to the royal family and the British people at the sad news.

"It is with deep sorrow that we have just learned of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. At this sad time, we send our heartfelt condolences to the Royal Family and the British people."

After coming to the throne in 1952, Elizabeth II led the longest reign in British history, marked by her strong sense of duty and determination to dedicate her life to the crown and her people.
