Cuban authorities wish young people success at their 12th Congress

Cuba's highest authorities wished success to the delegates and guests participating from today at the 12th Congress of the Young Communist League (UJC by its Spanish acronym).

On X, Esteban Lazo Hernandez, member of the Political Bureau of the Party and president of the National Assembly of People's Power and the Council of State of Cuba, stressed the importance of the event to continue strengthening the work of the Revolution.

We believe and trust in you! Congratulations, commented the parliamentary leader.

We trust in you, as our Commander in Chief Fidel Castro said: "great tasks can be placed on the shoulders of youth," said Manuel Marrero Cruz, member of the Political Bureau and Prime Minister of Cuba, on the same social network.

With his message, the head of government sent a hug to the young people from all over the country who arrived in Havana Tuesday to participate in the debate days.

For her part, Ines Maria Chapman, Cuban deputy prime minister, shared images of the young people in Congress and assured that this exchange will allow improving the work, young people, continuity and revolutionary firmness.

According to the UJC's X account, the schedule of activities for Tuesday includes a tribute to Julio Antonio Mella on the stairs of the University of Havana, accommodation and accreditation in the Congress villas and a meeting with representatives of several training ministries.
