Some 1,599 patients are isolated in hospitals or at home: 1,297 are suspected cases, 23 are under epidemiological surveillance, and 279 are active cases, according to the daily update from the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).

Of the total number of cases reported until late Friday, 41 were contacts of confirmed patients and three people were infected abroad.
